Policies & Procedures

Our policies and procedures have been meticulously designed to optimize our daily operations and uphold our standard of delivering exceptional service. We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to each policy and procedure to ensure the seamless continuity of our daily operations and to mitigate the possibility of incurring any associated fees.

  • We are open Tuesday-Saturday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. (With the exception of closures on alternating Saturdays, holidays, vacations, events/etc.) We do not have set open/close hours - we typically operate during the morning to mid-morning/lunch time hours.

  • We accept CASH or CHECK only. ($20 fee for returned checks) Pricing is based on each individual dogs needs and is subject to change. As a service industry, we do accept and appreciate all tips.

  • We ask that you arrive ON TIME to your scheduled appointment, if you are late you may be asked to reschedule, and a no show fee will be added to your account.

  • Please DO NOT arrive early/before your scheduled appointment time, as we may be unable to check you in early unless prior arrangements have been made.

  • All dogs MUST be on a leash or in a crate during both drop off and pick up. This is a safety policy that is NOT optional.

  • We do provide an estimated pickup time frame when scheduling your appointment, as well as at the time of check in. Once the groom is complete, we ALWAYS text and/or call to let you know that your pet(s) is ready for pickup.

  • We ask that you please do not come back to the salon to “check” on the status of your pet(s) progress during the grooming process, or park in front of the salon to "wait" on your pet(s) - this typically excites the pet(s) that we are working on and will only cause delays.

  • We ask that you pick up promptly once we alert you that your pet(s) is ready for pickup, as we do not hold dogs all day. There will be a late pickup fee added to your total for dogs left for an extended period of time after their groom is complete.

  • It is your responsibility to remember your appointment date/time. If you are unable to make it to your scheduled appointment, please inform us at least 24 hours prior so that we can offer the appointment slot to another client. We do charge a no show fee if you fail to cancel, and miss your scheduled appointment.

  • We ask that you please be sure to inform any persons (family, friends, etc.) that may be dropping off and/or picking up your pet(s) on your behalf of all of the policies and procedures as set forth by Shear Pawsitivity Inc.

Fees

No Show Fee:

  • For the first occurrence, a fee equivalent to 50% of your standard grooming price will be applied.

    Example: your standard grooming price is $65
    This would be $65 + $32.50 Fee = $97.50

  • For the second and any subsequent occurrences, a fee equivalent to 100% of your standard grooming price will be applied.

    Example: your standard grooming price is $65
    This would be $65 + $65 Fee = $130

Late Pickup Fee:
  • Varies (based on length of time)
